Rebelle Surf, a unique surf school in Strandhill, County Sligo.
We are based in Strandhill, an incredibly magic little village known for it’s consistent and fun waves, right on the Wild Atlantic Way. Strandhill village itself has an usually high concentration of epic entrepreneurs providing stellar food, coffee, yoga, music, art and other outdoor activities. Our landscape is the real gem though. Knocknarea mountain is steeped in myth and legends of the Great Queen Maeve and her kingdom is the majestic backdrop and power source to everything we do here. The beach and dunes, the ancient pathways and waterways are all around us.
Our approach to surfing is a little different. We know the power of surfing and the positive impact that it can have on a persons life. Everyone’s experience is different and that’s why all our sessions are personal and engaging. No ‘one size fits all’ and that’s the essence of our company, be yourself and we’ll meet you there.
Our surf school in Strandhill has different styles of teaching available within every lesson and camp. You may want fun light hearted lessons with no goals other than having a good time or trying something new or you may want fun infused with technical performance tips and suggestions. Or perhaps a more focused session with detailed positive and honest feedback on areas you could work on with video analysis and goals. You may want advice on what board is suitable for you or how to read swell charts. We also offer more transformative style lessons with feedback on limiting beliefs that might be affecting your surfing and tips on how to bring presence to your surfing.
Just tell your instructor before or even during your lesson which style of teaching you would prefer.
